The unit features automatic high temperature, low coolant, low oil pressure and over speed shutdown and an automatic voltage regulator with over voltage protection. The unit runs a quiet weekly self test and has an Isochronous Electronic Governor and includes a Type N Nexus controller. The Nexus controller monitors utility power, triggers the automatic transfer switch, starts and stops the generator, exercises and monitors the generator for any system faults. It combines the voltage regulator, engine control board and battery charger into one single item.
