Being light weight makes them appropriate for roof mounting. When utility fails, the control is factory set to delay 10 seconds prior to starting the engine and is adjustable up to 30 seconds. The unit ships from the factory ready for use with natural gas. The external mainline circuit breaker has power shutdown that eliminates the need to open the enclosure. The three LED indicator lights represent when the unit is ok (green), needs maintenance (yellow), or the dealer needs to be contacted (red). The unit features automatic high temperature, low coolant, low oil pressure and over speed shutdown and an automatic voltage regulator with over voltage protection. The unit runs a quiet weekly self test and has an Isochronous Electronic Governor and includes a Type N Nexus controller. The Nexus controller monitors utility power, triggers the automatic transfer switch, starts and stops the generator, exercises and monitors the generator for any system faults.
